(min age: 3rd grade) What is it? What’s it for? Farming takes a lot of work and physical labor. Over the years many tools have been invented to help make life as a farmer more efficient. From simple machines, such as pullies for moving heavy hay bales, to systems that keep animals healthy, students will have fun guessing what each tool is and learning about their use. During this hands-on class students will get to try out the different tools and see why they were important inventions.
