The Outdoor Learning Center at Horizons offers a variety of programs meant to expand and enhance classroom learning opportunities while offering tremendous field-based learning in areas such as Geology, Environmental Studies, Biology, Archaeology, History, and Earth Science. Horizons also offers programs focusing on non-traditional learning in areas such as communication, cooperation, decision-making, conflict resolution, self esteem, trust and creativity.

"...It was so nice to see so many happy faces and so many of our students getting into the activities, especially those that don't normally participate positively. We want to commend your staff on their hard work and willingness to work with us and all of our ideas. They were exceptional!"

- R.Yutzy, on behalf of Eastern Mennonite Middle School
